Your volunteer support makes the PTO possible! Even giving just one or two hours of your time each year can make a big difference for our school.
Some typical volunteer opportunities throughout the year:
Jog-a-Thon (our main fundraiser)
Helping provide meals and treats for staff during parent-teacher conferences (fall and spring)
Celebrating our wonderful staff during Staff Appreciation Week (May)
Helping setup/cleanup and staff the biannual Book Fairs
Bottle Drop Fundraiser
Holiday Wreath Sale
Serving on the PTO board of directors
Anyone can volunteer! If you are going to volunteer on-site at the school (for example, at a Jog-a-thon or in a classroom), the district requires a brief online application form and a criminal history check. Click here for more information on getting approved as a district volunteer.
Attending PTO meetings is a great way to get involved, stay informed, and meet other Myers families! Meetings are the first Tuesdays of the month at 6:00 p.m. during the school year.
